Tim Patrick, a wide receiver with the Denver Broncos, is believed to have torn his left Achilles tendon, according to sources who spoke to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Patrick missed the 2022 season due to a ruptured right ACL. With the injuries, Patrick had to be carried off the practice field on Monday.
Patrick was taken for an MRI to determine the severity of his Achilles tendon injury, according to comments made by Broncos coach Sean Payton following practice. Patrick would miss his second straight season if he had an Achilles tear. Payton added, “But hopefully we get some good news.”

The Broncos receiver was seen on crutches for his left leg after being carried away. He suffered an ACL injury in his right leg the previous year, but this time he has an Achilles problem.
According to Adam Schefter, Patrick will miss the second consecutive season due to the season-ending injury. The Broncos, who had great hopes for the forthcoming season, have been dealt an enormous setback.

On August 5 of last year, Patrick suffered an ACL tear. On Monday, Patrick fell to the ground during a 7-on-7 drill when he made a cut and there was no defender nearby.
The last full season he played, in 2021, Patrick, one of the club’s emotional leaders, led the team in touchdown receptions with five. Pat Surtain II, a cornerback for the Broncos, claimed that “many people can’t compete like him.”
After seeing the preparation the receiver had made throughout the offseason to be ready to play a key role in the offense, Payton was questioned about how upsetting it was to see Patrick carted off the practice field. “Oh my gosh, I think especially with a player like him … who’s so well respected,” Payton said.
