Braxton Berrios and Alix Earle made their red carpet debut, only weeks after he opened up about his breakup with Sophia Culpo after a lengthy relationship.

The Miami Dolphins wide receiver and TikTok celebrity attended the 2023 ESPYs on Wednesday at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. While Earle wore a strapless black leather dress, Berrios wore a pastel-colored suit. Earle accessorized with a pair of black Steve Madden square-toe heels.

Who is Braxton Berrios?

Wide receiver Berrios plays for the National Football League’s (NFL) Miami Dolphins. He played college football at Miami (FL). He played quarterback and was a standout athlete at Leesville Road High School in Raleigh, North Carolina. During the 2018 NFL Draft’s sixth round, the New England Patriots selected him.

Berrios is a native of Raleigh, North Carolina’s Leesville Road. He chose Miami over Ohio State, Clemson, Oregon, and many other Power 5 institutions as his school of choice despite being a four-star wide receiver. As a true freshman, Berrios participated and finished the year with 21 receptions for 232 yards and 3 touchdowns. Berrios helped Florida State defeat the Seminoles for the first time since 2009 in 2017 by catching two touchdown passes.

He played for the New York Jets from 2019 to 2022 before signing with the Miami Dolphins prior to the 2023 NFL season.

The red carpet debut comes just weeks after Berrios set the record straight about the timeline of his breakup from Culpo.

“I was in a relationship for two years. It was a good relationship. It was a healthy one,” he said. “Towards the end of it, we got in conversations along the lines of we just weren’t working out. So when we split back in January, that’s why.”
