Who is Dylan Raiola?

Dylan Raiola’s recruitment journey was a whirlwind, involving three commitments and spanning four high schools across the country. Originally pledging to Ohio State under coach Ryan Day in May 2022, he later switched his commitment to Georgia after one year. Matt Rhule, Nebraska’s head coach, prioritized Raiola from the outset, given his familial ties to the program.

The son of Nebraska consensus All-American Dominic Raiola, Dylan Raiola is deeply rooted in Cornhuskers’ history. His uncle, Donovan Raiola, serves as the offensive line coach at Nebraska. Despite Raiola’s initial commitment to Georgia, Nebraska persisted in maintaining contact, ultimately securing an official visit.

Raiola’s senior season at Buford High School in Georgia showcased his prowess, amassing impressive statistics with 2,819 yards, 34 touchdowns, and just one interception. This stellar performance contributed to his reputation as the consensus top football recruit in the 2024 class.

Born on May 9, 2005, Raiola’s football journey included stints at high schools in Arizona and Texas. He excelled at each stop, with notable achievements like passing for 3,341 yards and 32 touchdowns during his sophomore season at Burleson High School.
