Nathan Coulter-Nile, an Australian fast bowler, has been part of Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 and played his first game of the season on Thursday in match 24 against Rajasthan Royals, looking to make a mark in the team as a regular.

Coulter-Nile came in as the third seamer for MI, the spot which was also competed by Marco Jansen and Adam Milne. Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah being the two main seamers and regular starters, the spot for the third seamer has changed constantly with Milne paying one game and Jansen playing two games in the season.
Coulter made his international debut for Australia on February 13, 2013, against West Indies in a T20I and has played 28 matches since. He also has made 32 appearances in ODI since his debut on September 14, 2013, against England. He also featured in the ICC Men%u2019s World Cup 2019, which was hosted in England.

Coulter-Nile, predominantly a fast-bowler is also capable of batting down the order. He has the highest score of 92 in ODI, and 34 in T20I. He has picked 52 wickets in ODI and 34 wickets in T20I at an average of 29.90 and 23.58 respectively.
Coulter-Nile was born on October 11, 1987, in Perth, Western Australia. He also represented Western Australia at under-17 and under-19 level. He was a member of Dennis Lillee Fast Bowling Academy. He was first selected for Australia under-19 in 2007 for three ODI against Pakistan under-19. Following his successful domestic season with Western Australia in 2011-12, he got the call-up for Australia-A in 2012 for the tour of England.
