Sara Lee, an American television personality and professional wrestler, died Thursday at the age of 30.

Terri Lee, her mother, announced her death in an online statement. 

“We share the news that our Sarah Weston has gone to be with Jesus with heavy hearts. We are all in shock,” she wrote.

The cause of Lee’s death has not been revealed.

WWW’s official Twitter wrote: ” WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of Sara Lee. As a former “Tough Enough” winner, Lee served as an inspiration to many in the sports-entertainment world. WWE offers its heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and fans.”

Who was Sara Lee?

Lee is best known for her time in WWE between 2015 and 2016. In 2015, she was the female winner of the sixth season of the WWE competition Tough Enough, earning a one-year contract with WWE.

Lee was born and raised in Hope Township, Michigan. She graduated from Meridian High School in 2010, and went on to study diagnostic medical sonography at Delta College in Bay City, Michigan.

Lee won the 2015 season of Tough Enough, an elimination-style competition designed to find new talent for the company.

Lee was assigned to WWE’s developmental territory NXT, based at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, to begin training. She made her first appearance for NXT at a live event on January 16, 2016. She made her in-ring debut at the January 30 live event during a six-Diva tag team match. However, she failed to impress top authorities with her in-ring abilities. She was released from her contract in 2017.

She married former WWE wrestler Westin Blake in 2017. The couple have have three children.
