He is widely regarded as one of the greatest bassists of all time. In their list of the 50 greatest bassists of all time, Rolling Stone magazine had placed Collins on number 4.

This performance was an iconic moment for Collins since he had earlier (in 2019) said that health reasons were making him quit concerts.

On January 13, Collins announced the arrival of his song “The Ickey Shuffle.” The song is “a homage and unifying declaration to inspire sportsmanship, funk and peace,” according to a press release. Collins, his son, Ouiwey Collins, the Ben-Gals, and Ickey Woods can be seen in the attached film.

As expected, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was inactive for Sunday night’s wild-card playoff game at Cincinnati because of a knee injury.

His backup, Tyler Huntley, who has been dealing with shoulder and wrist injuries and was limited in practice this past week, was active.

Jackson hasn’t practiced since he hurt his left knee early in a win over Denver on Dec. 4. He tweeted Thursday that his PCL sprain hadn’t healed enough for him to play.

Last week, with Huntley out for a mostly meaningless regular-season finale, rookie Anthony Brown got his first NFL start in a 27-16 loss to the Bengals.
