Kyrgios is renowned as a dynamic and volatile player with skill. He has been accused of tanking, using foul language, and acting in an unsportsmanlike manner by match officials, umpires, previous tennis players like John McEnroe, the media, and others.

Kyrgios has also hit back. The 27-year-old claimed he was “the pariah” of his countrymen. It comes after Kyrgios was accused of “cheating, manipulation, and abuse” during this year’s championships by former Wimbledon champion Pat Cash. 

“As for the greats of Australian tennis, they haven’t always been the nicest to me personally. They haven’t always been supportive. They haven’t been supportive these two weeks. So it’s hard for me to kind of read things that they say about me,” Kyrgios spoke at a press conference. 

The men’s Wimbledon final is tied at one set apiece after the second set of play between Novak Djokovic and Nick Kyrgios. After breaking at love for a 3-1 lead and avoiding four break points in the final game, Djokovic won the set 6-3. The first set was won by Kyrgios 6-4. Djokovic aims to win his seventh Wimbledon championship and total 21st Grand Slam title. Kyrgios is competing in his first Grand Slam final of his career.
