Leicester City defender Wout Faes has scored two own goals in the first half of their Premier League match against Liverpool. Leicester were ahead in the match thanks to a strike by Kiernan-Dewsbury-Hall in the 4th minute of the match, but Faes managed to put his own team behind by scoring two own goals.

The first goal came when he mistakenly netted in a cross floated by Trent Alexander-Arnold. Check it out right here:

The second goal went in from a rebound after Darwin Nunez hit the post in the 45th minute:

Liverpool defeats Leicester City 2-1 thanks to Faes, moving from within two points of the top in the Premier League. Liverpool, who remain sixth but have moved within a point of fifth-placed Manchester United, despite having played one more game, will consider themselves fortunate after a disappointing performance in which both clubs missed good chances.

“We are here to get results and that’s what we did tonight,” said Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, whose side have now won four league games on the trot.

“But we lose balls at the wrong moments and we were too open at times. We have to take the resulting momentum but have to play better in our next match against Brentford,” he added.

Leicester slipped to 13th position, four points above the relegation zone, after losing their tenth league game of the season. They were caught off guard by a long clearance from goalkeeper Danny Ward, followed by two quick touches that put Dewsbury-Hall away on goal. He outran the defense and ran around half the length of the field to score.

Leicester seems to be getting good value for their lead until Faes miscued clearance of a Trent Alexander Arnold cross into the box looped up over Ward and into the back of the Leicester net from a tight angle.
