Bharti Airtel: The telecom share gained 1.38% to close at Rs 717.00 after the company announced a strategic partnership with technology major Google. Bharti Airtel will issue 71.2 million preference shares of Google at Rs 734 per share at a premium of $% to the closing price on January 27.

SpiceJet: The share jumped 5.85% to close at Rs 64.20 after the Supreme Court granted three weeks period to the airline to resolve its financial dispute with Swiss firm Credit Suisse AG. The apex court stayed the operation of the Madras High Court verdict that allowed a winding-up petition and directed that the official liquidator take over the assets of the low-cost airline.

Dr. Reddy’s Labs: The share dropped 0.74% to close at Rs 4,225 after the drugmaker reported a 3,648% surge in net profit to Rs 707 crore in the quarter ended December as compared to Rs 19.8 crore in a year-ago period. Revenue increased by 8% to Rs 5,320 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year.

Kotak Mahindra Bank: The private lender’s stock fell 0.11% to close at Rs 1,891.30 after the company reported a 15% rise in its standalone net profit of Rs 2,131 crore in the quarter ended December 2021 as compared to Rs 1,854 crore in the quarter ended December 2020. The consolidated income dropped to Rs 14,176 crore from Rs 14,671 crore in the year-ago period.

RBL Bank: The bank stock dropped 3.49% to close at Rs 147.80. The private lender’s shares were in focus today after it reported strong performance for the December 2021 quarter.
