Multiple people were shot in the parking lot of a Trader Joe’s Grocery store in Los Angeles on Saturday. A video shows that the suspect, a white male, being arrested by LAPD officers.

One person was reported dead and three others were injured in the incident. As per a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson, the shooting was reported at 3:45 PM in the community of West Hills in the San Fernando Valley.

Margaret Stewart, the spokesperson, added that a 45-year-old died at the scene. A woman, 35, was hospitalised in critical condition and the other two were serious too.

Breaking news Twitter handle posted a video of the suspect being arrested. “Video shows the suspect being arrested by LAPD after Suspect ditched this vehicle and hopped into another vehicle after he shot 3-4 people and killed one at trader Joe’s grocery store parking lot,” it tweeted.

The suspect “may be known to the victims,” Chaves added. The motive behind the shooting was unclear. LAPD later said that they have two suspects in custody. They tried to flee the area in a red Honda.

The identity of the suspects and the victims have not been revealed yet.

“I see it was in West Hills. That is supposed to be a decent neighborhood. RIP to those lost and hopefully the fatalities end at 1,” another one added.

“I would personally like to see a mandate that all gun buyers go through at least a 20 hour training and certification and respect the firearms before they can get a license to own with that a fingerprinting.
For sportsman I would think they would support the idea to get the psychopaths killers giving firearms a bad name. These killers don’t deserve the right to own firearms,” another one tweeted.
