This Eid actor Salman Khan decided to launch self-grooming products instead of a movie. The Dabbang star’s move to unveil a range of personal care products drew mixed responses from his fans.
In a video message released on the occasion, Khan said, “Initially, we had planned to launch deodorants under the brand, but as per the need of the hour, we are bringing sanitizers.” Hand sanitisers are in huge demand because of the coronavirus that spreads mainly through human-to-human contact.
Salman Khan has titled his latest offering ‘Frsh’, which has been co-created by Scentials Beauty Care and Wellness and co-founded by former tennis professional Mahesh Bhupathi. The first product from the company is a hand sanitiser that is available on its official website.
Cashing in on the growing demand for men’s grooming range the brand will also host various men’s grooming products including deodorants, fragrances, skin-care and makeup.
Khan also helms the Being Human Foundation, a Mumbai-based charity that provides education and healthcare services for the underprivileged. The organization is funded by sales of Being Human-branded merchandise.
The announcement of Frsh on May 25 drew varied responses from Salman Khan’s followers on social media platform Twitter. Here are a few:
