Janae Kalia-Henry, a 13-year-old girl who was abducted in Reading, Pennsylvania, was found walking on a Brooklyn street without shoes on Wednesday. 

Authorities found the girl on Liberty Avenue in Cypress Hill around 5:40 pm after a 911 caller alerted them. The teen had reportedly told the caller that she had been kidnapped.

The suspect her abduction was taken into custody outside his home on Wednesday.

Pennsylvania authorities have identified the suspect  47-year-old Dwayne Taylor, from Brooklyn. He allegedly abducted the girl from her Redding, Pennsylvania, home on Tuesday. Charges are yet to be filed against him in connection with the incident. 

Reading Police Chief Richard Tornielli said there was a connection between the man and victim but did not elaborate.

“This wasn’t a random, off the street kidnapping,” he said during a press conference.

Earlier in the day, Pennsylvania authorities had issued an Amber Alert for Janae Kalia-Henry who was abducted in Reading. Police said she was abducted by an unknown male and the two were last seen traveling in a silver Chevrolet Traverse with a Pennsylvania license plate.

Police said the girl was last seen in the area of Schuylkill Avenue in Reading at approximately 2am on Wednesday. She has been described as having black hair and brown eyes. The girl is 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 106 pounds. She was wearing a red shirt and pink and purple pants when abducted.

Authorities had asked anyone with any information about the abduction was requested to call 911.
