The clip where Christie’s face was powdered and DeSantis’s hair was fixed by a cosmetics artist surfaced on social media. The two candidates were likely getting ready for the next round of questions, which were expected to be more challenging.

Several X users reacted to the surfaced video. One user wrote, “That’s a new large tub of makeup for Christie.  Ooops all gone.”

“like, as silly as this looks, it’s completely normal and very common for people to wear makeup on live TV, even men. anyone dunking on these guys for wearing makeup should know that your favorite male news host almost definitely wears makeup as well.” another user wrote.

Christie made the headlines after he unleashed while Ramaswamy was dismissing climate change as a hoax and criticizing what he perceived as Washington’s anti-carbon agenda.

“I’ve had my fill tonight of a fellow who sounds like ChatGPT up here,” quipped Christie to Fox News moderator Bret Baier. He went on to draw a humorous parallel, stating, “The last time someone in one of these debates, Bret, stood in the center of the stage and asked, ‘What’s a skinny guy with an unusual last name doing up here?’ was Barack Obama.” Christie was, of course, referring to Ramaswamy’s earlier self-introduction during the debate.

Ramaswamy’s swift ascent in the polls has been credited to his frequent appearances on broadcast TV and podcasts, where he has consistently displayed his ability to communicate effectively and persuasively. However, it’s worth noting that this affluent entrepreneur has faced criticism for seemingly changing his stance on various issues.

Drawing a comparison between Ramaswamy and Barack Obama, Chris Christie remarked, “I’m concerned we’re dealing with a similar type of novice,” implying that both individuals, despite their eloquence, may lack the necessary experience in politics.
