During a heated exchange on the topic of climate change at the inaugural Republican presidential debate, biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy reiterated his stance that he believes the “climate change agenda is a hoax.” The video of the instance surfaced on social media and gathered a lot of attention.

Several X users reacted to the video on social media. One user wrote, “this is the first clip i’ve seen of the debate and holy hell vivek’s mannerisms are about as straight as a fruit salad in drag”

One user tweeted, “All they needed was a reason to not like him they already weren’t going to vote for him😂😂😂😂😂”

Despite trailing behind Trump in the polls, Ramaswamy had made significant gains recently, earning him a prominent position alongside Florida Governor Ron DeSantis at the center stage. He wasted no time in demonstrating why he had risen in popularity. Ramaswamy presented himself as media-savvy and on-message, recounting the story of his immigrant parents and his own journey in founding billion-dollar companies.

However, Ramaswamy also sought to distance himself from traditional politicians, opting to confront his rivals. He boldly stated, “I’m the only person on the stage who isn’t bought and paid for,” while criticizing his opponents as “superPAC puppets” who relied on “pre-prepared slogans” to attack him.

At the heart of the stage and the focal point of the most heated exchanges during the initial segment of the debate stood an unexpected contender – Vivek Ramaswamy, a 38-year-old political newcomer and technology entrepreneur. His presence on the stage was a surprise to many, considering his relatively recent entry into the political arena.
