was reported at a Chuck E. Cheese in Brandon, Florida, the Internet says. Not
much information is available about the shooting incident right away, but
Twitter has been complaining about how unsafe kids are in an environment where
guns are pulled at a child-friendly pizza joint. Over the years, Chuck E.
Cheese outlets have been sites of several episodes of violence, the biggest in

Aurora,
Colorado in 1993

Four people
were shot dead and a fifth person was injured after a 19-year-old man opened
fire at a Chuck E. Cheese in Aurora, Colorado. Nathan Dunlap, a former employee
who was outraged over being sacked, entered the restaurant and shot five
employees, four of whom died. He fled the scene with stolen cash and other
restaurant belongings, but was eventually arrested and convicted.

Texas in 2022

A man
walking towards a Chuck E. Cheese in Texas to celebrate his six-year-old
daughter’s birthday was shot dead at the restaurant’s parking lot. The man was
holding his daughter’s birthday cake when he was shot. He managed to walk into
the restaurant where he announced to his wife that he had been shot. He died
later.

Indianapolis
in 2022

The
shooting at Indianapolis Chuck E. Cheese was another infamous shooting in the
US in a year where massacre after massacre has grabbed headlines. It was a
Sunday afternoon when parents and children sitting at a Chuck E. Cheese in
Indianapolis heard gunshots. Everyone ducked on the floor. A few minutes later,
when law enforcement arrived, it was found that the shooting had happened
outside the restaurant on the southeast of the intersection of East Washington
Street and Mitthoeffer Road.
