Three people, including comedian Fuquan Johnson, were found dead at a home in Venice from apparent overdosing on cocaine laced with fentanyl, according to US media reports on Sunday. 

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office confirmed the 43-year-old comedian’s death on Sunday, but did not provide an official cause of death. 

The coroner’s office did not say if Johnson was one of the people who overdosed.

According to reports, comedian and model Kate Quigley was in critical condition with the 39-year-old texting her friend Brian Redban Sunday to say: ‘I’m alive. Not great. But im OK.’ Redban shared a screenshot of the message on his Instagram on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the three fatalities were later identified as Johnson, 43, of North Hollywood; Natalie Williamson, 33, of Los Angeles, and Enrico Colangeli, 48, of Medford, Massachusetts, according to the Los Angeles County coroners’ office.

Johnson was a standup comedian and writer for “Comedy Parlour Live.”

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 12.04 am Saturday to a home in the 200 Block of Carroll Canal, where three people were pronounced dead at the scene and another person was rushed to an area hospital, ABC News reported.

Autopsies will be conducted on all three victims.

Quigley has hosted Playboy TVs “Undercover” and the 2016 AVN Awards, and formerly dated singer Darius Rucker, the former lead vocalist for Hootie and the Blowfish, according to Los Angeles Daily News.

According to TMZ, Quigley lived next door to the house where the 911 call was made, and all of the victims seemed to have ingested cocaine laced with fentanyl, a potent opioid blamed for millions of overdose fatalities in the United States over the previous several years.

Following reports of Johnson’s death, Hollywood actor Luke Barnett tweeted: “Very sad to hear about the passing of my buddy Fuquan Johnson. Smiliest, happiest dude, and a local icon in the North Hollywood community, RIP.”
