Daniel Kaluuya won the Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture in the Golden Globes Awards for his role “Judas and the Black Messiah”. The 32-year-old actor portrayed the role of the late Black Panther leader Fred Hampton in the movie.
On his role in the “Judas and the Messiah,” Kaluuya said, “I gave everything.” In his acceptance speech, he said, “And I couldn’t give it to a more noble man, than chairman Fred Hampton. I hope generations after this can see how brilliantly he thought, how brilliantly he spoke and how brilliantly he loved.”

Kaluuya had been earlier nominated for the Golden Globes for his role in the movie “Get Out” in 2017, for which he was also nominated for an Oscar.
The 32-year-old competed in the category of lead actor in a comedy/musical at the Globes and he is one of only nine Black men ever to get the nomination in the category. However, the category this year does not have any Black nominees.
