In the Harry Potter reunion special ‘Return to Hogwarts’, actor Daniel Radcliffe has opened up about having a crush on co-star Helena Bonham Carter during the shoot of the films.

In the special, Radcliffe read a love letter he sent to Carter, who played his sworn enemy Bellatrix Lestrange, after completing filming on the final movie of the franchise. “Dear HBC, it was a pleasure being your co-star and coaster in the fact I always ended up holding your coffee,” Radcliffe read out loud, according to a report by ET Canada.

“I do love you and I wish I’d just been born 10 years earlier so I might’ve been in with a chance,” Radcliffe, now 32, had written to Carter, now 55.

But Radcliffe wasn’t the only person who harboured a crush on the sets. His co-star Emma Watson also shared at the reunion that she had a crush on Tom Felton, who portrayed Draco Malfow. She revealed, “I walked into the room where we were having tutoring. The assignment that had been given was to draw what you thought God looked like, and Tom had drawn a girl with a backward cap on a skateboar.”

“And I just don’t know how to say it — I just fell in love with him,” she adds. “I used to come in every day and look for his number on the call sheet, it was number seven, and if his name was on the call sheet, it was an extra exciting day,” she added.
