In his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, Ron DeSantis has pledged to ‘Make America Florida’ and says he will make a bid this week. The governor of Florida recently released his book, ‘The Courage to Be Free: Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Revival’.
In his book, DeSantis discusses the difficulties he has encountered in Florida and how, in line with the campaign slogan of his supporters, “Make America Florida,” he thinks they may be extended to the US as a whole.
Nationally, DeSantis is best known for his opposition to vaccine regulations from the pandemic era and school closings, and efforts to limit the teaching of gender identity and structural racism in classrooms. He is currently being mocked on social media for his campaign slogan, ‘Make America Florida’.

A user on Twitter “This is happening right now in Florida, the GOP base is supporting the efforts and DeathSantis is using a campaign slogan “Make America Florida”. This isn’t a dog whistle, it’s a loud & clear bullhorn. I hope Florida voters are paying attention, It’s Nazi Germany w/ alligators,” while another one commented, “If “Make America Florida” is the official slogan, and DeSantis somehow gets the nomination, he’s gonna lose by 10 points at least.”
A third user posted on Twitter, “YOU COULDN’T DO ANY BETTER THAN THIS!? YOU PREPARED FOR YEARS AND YOU COULDN’T COME UP WITH ANYTHING BETTER THAN “Make America Florida” AS A SLOGAN!? MY EXPECTATIONS WERE LOW BUT HOLY SHIT THIS MIGHT BE THE WORST RUN CAMPAIGN IVE EVER SEEN.”

A fourth Twitterati wrote, “‘America Florida’ So Ron DeSantis’s slogan is Make America Florida? As a Floridian I just want to say whole heartedly that is the stupidest fucking thing I’ve ever heard in my life. He’s not going to win one state in this primary. What a loser.”
