Harlan Crow, who allegedly gifted luxury gifts to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, has a collection of Adolf Hitler’s paintings and Nazi memorabilia, as per reports.

The Republican billionaire has all the artifacts in his Dallas home, the New York Post reported. He also has a garden with Hitler’s statues. Crow hosted a fundraiser on the eve of the Yom Kippur holiday in 2015, sparking controversy. The 74-year-old has reportedly said that he collects the statues because he hates communism and fascism.

In 2014, a Dallas Morning News reporter witnessed the sculptures of Soviet leader Vladimir Lenin, Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu, and Yugoslav dictator Josip Broz Tito at his home. Crow has reportedly also signed a copy of Adolf Hitler’s autobiography “Mein Kampf”  and works by artists Renoir and Monet.

“I still can’t get over the collection of Nazi memorabilia. It would have been helpful to have someone explain the significance of all the items. Without that context, you sort of just gasp when you walk into the room,” one person who saw the paintings said as per washingtonian.com.

“Harlan Crow’s “collections include Hitler artifacts—two of his paintings of European cityscapes, a signed copy of Mein Kampf, and assorted Nazi memorabilia—plus a garden full of statues of the 20th century’s worst despots,” a Twitter user said.

“When R megadonor Harlan Crow isn’t lavishing Thomas with free trips he lives among his historical collections – Hitler artifacts—two of his paintings of European cityscapes, and assorted Nazi memorabilia—plus a garden full of statues of the 20th century’s worst despots,” another one added.

According to investigative news outlet ProPublica, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas repeatedly went on luxurious vacations with Crow.

Thomas accepted trips on Crow’s private jet and superyacht for more than two decades, the report added.
