As Virginia’s polls are about to conclude, Republican Glenn Youngkin seems to have a commanding lead in the state elections and former United States President Donald Trump has already called a win for the GOP.

In a statement released by Taylor Budowich, Trump said that Youngkin will be a great governor. The former President also thanked the followers of the ‘Make America Great Again’ movement.

He wrote, “I would like to thank my BASE for coming out in force and voting for Glenn Youngkin. Without you, he would not have been close to winning. The MAGA movement is bigger and stronger than ever before. Glenn will be a great governor.”

In a statement posted by Taylor Budowich– a spokesperson for the former President– on Twitter, Trump said, “Get out and vote for a man who will be a great governor, Glenn Youngkin!”

Trump also furthered his rigged election claims in Virginia polls, the main ballot casting of which is yet to commence. The statement, shared by Budowich on Twitter, read, “We must win bigger than the margin of fraud by flooding the polls with those that believe in America First. Please vote on Tuesday for Glenn Youngkin—he will not let you down!”
