Former President Donald Trump is reportedly jealous of his youngest son, Barron Trump’s height because he wants to be “tallest in the room.”

A photo of the 17-year-old, posing with his 76-year-old father went viral on social media on the occasion of Father’s Day. The father-son pair looked dapper in tuxedos. But what was the most stark about the photo was the height difference between the two. While Donald Trump admitted that he is 6 feet and 2 inches tall during his arraignment at a Manhattan courthouse in April- an inch shorter than what he used to originally claim his height was, Barron Trump currently stands at six feet, seven inches.

Look at the recent photo that has gone viral:

According to USA Today journalist Michael Wolff, Donald Trump is jealous that his son is so much taller than him. According to a report, Barron Trump is hardly seen with his father, and whenever he does attend an event, he is always seen standing beside his mother, Melania Trump because Donald Trump does not want his teenage son towering over him.

Wolff wrote in his book Siege: Trump Under Fire about the jealousy four years ago. He also reiterated his opinion about Trump’s nature in his interview with Lawrence O’Donnell. Although Wolff’s book on Trump has not been published yet, Trump trusted him enough to give him private interviews, where he revealed personal information about himself.

“I think there are many issues. But this is a major issue because he really doesn’t — he doesn’t get along with his son [Barron], he doesn’t communicate with his son, he doesn’t — his son is effectively not at all a part of his life, even though he lives with him,” Wolff said in the interview.

O’Donnell responded, saying: “You also report the incredibly peculiar detail that Donald Trump is reportedly jealous of his son’s height because at 12 years old he’s apparently growing up.”

Wolff replied: “He’s jealous of everyone’s height. He never lets himself be in a photograph with someone taller than he is. Height is his — is one of his techniques. He uses his height — and, remember, Donald Trump is a very large man.”
