Actor Jodie Foster has finally provided more clarity on her frequent shout-outs to footballer Aaron Rodgers from the stage. 58-year-old Jodie had a big night at the Golden Globes Awards 2021 as she won the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture- Drama for her film The Mauritanian, which also co-stars Aaron’s partner Shailene Woodley. 

As Jodie had initially promised, she thanked Green Bay Packers quarterback in her acceptance speech, which follows Aaron’s thanks to her when she received the NFL MVP award in February.

In the Golden Globes press room, Jodie shared that Aaron has already talked to her about the shout-out.

Jodie Rodgers said, “I’ve decided that, not only am I a huge Packers fan, but I am MVP—I am competitive MVP with Aaron Rodgers.” She added that, “Yes, I’m a huge Packers fan, and in fact, I just got a very cute video from Aaron Rodgers where he says he is going to get me back. So we’ll see who wins.”

Jodie said that she has never met Aaron but she loves talking a lot about Green Bay Packers and her co-star Shailene is very aware of the enthusiasm she has for the team.

In her acceptance speech, she thanked Alexandra Hedison, her wife who was seated next to her along with their dog. “I love my wife! Thank you, Alex. And Ziggy. And Aaron Rodgers!” Jodie said.
