Joe Biden, the President-elect of the United States, on Sunday took his first steps moving towards the White House after 73 days as he and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris launched a transition website BuildBackBetter.com, and a Twitter feed, @Transition46.

The transition website of Biden list four priorities, that include COVID-19, economic recovery, racial equity, and climate change. Meanwhile, Biden is likely to announce a COVID-19 task force on Monday, in his plans to tackle the coronavirus pandemic that has killed over 237,000 Americans and infected 10 million.

The President-elect, who will turn 78 on November 20, has also vowed to rejoin the Paris accord, which the Trump administration formally left last week. He will also, reportedly, issue an executive order on his first day in office reversing Trump’s travel ban on mostly Muslim countries.
