The Justice for J6 rally was tagged as a “setup” for those who support the Republican party by former United States President Donald Trump. The prominent GOP leader said that it does not matter what the outcome of the protest is, those who show up will be undermined.
In an interview with The Federalist, Trump said, “If people don’t show up they’ll say, ‘Oh, it’s a lack of spirit.’ And if people do show up they’ll be harassed.”
The former United States President did show support for the cause of the Justice for J6 rally, however, continued to ride on his bandwagon of calling 2020 Presidential Elections rigged.
He said in a statement, “Our hearts and minds are with the people being persecuted so unfairly relating to the January 6th protest concerning the rigged Presidential Election”, according to reports from Politico.

He added, “In addition to everything else, it has proven conclusively that we are a two-tiered system of justice. In the end, however, JUSTICE WILL PREVAIL!”
In a memo released by the organisers of the event, mainly ‘Look Ahead America’, those who planned to attend the rally in Washington DC on September 18 were directed to not carry any gear that supported either Trump or his White House successor President Joe Biden.
“Do not wear or bring political, candidate, or another organization’s paraphernalia, including clothing or banners supporting President Trump or President Biden“, the memo said, laying a disclaimer in an attempt to shrug off any political allegiance.
Matt Barnyard, the head of ‘Look Ahead America, wrote on Twitter, “Anyone not honoring this request will be assumed to be an infiltrator and we will take your picture, find out who you are, and make you famous.”
In addition to Washington DC’s event on Saturday, the Justice for J6 rally will be organised in 17 other regions across the United States.
