Democratic Party’s presidential nominee Joe Biden ended his campaign in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, which also featured pop superstar Lady Gaga on the eve of the election day. 

Biden, ending his campaign that was launched 18 months ago, said,  “The power’s in your hands, Pennsylvania!” The 77-year-old said, “It’s time to stand up and take back our democracy.” 

“This is a battle for the soul of America,” the Democrat said. “We have to win this.”

Lady Gaga, wearing a white sweatshirt with ‘Joe’ printed on it, removed her gloves and sat down at a white piano to play her hit “Shallow”. “Gloves off because it’s a fight — a fight for what you believe in,” she said before launching into her hit. 

“Now is the time to show up and vote like this country depends on it, because it does,” Variety quoted as Gaga saying.

The 34-year-old called on the audience to vote for Biden because “we needed somebody that was going to bring us all together for this moment, for this very important moment.”

“No matter who wins tomorrow, we’re going to have to do this together. Tomorrow’s got to be peaceful,” the Grammy award winner,  who once lived in Pennsylvania, said. 

Gaga has earlier also helped Democrat Hillary Clinton in closing her campaign in the 2016 US elections. 

The voting to elect the 46th President is currently underway in the United States.
