Multiple people were injured by falling hail during a Louis Tomlinson concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on Wednesday. Several social media users shared visuals of the chaos.

Videos from the concert show that the hail storm left cars damaged as people ran out of the venue. Officials announced that the Louis Tomlinson show has been postponed until further notice.

As per local media reports, nine people were hospitalized after hail pummeled the crowd. They were waiting for the One Direction star to perform. Videos showed first responders outside the amphitheater. Several concert-goers complained that they had broken their fingers and hands.

“Tonight was the scariest night of my life. It started pelting people with hail at Red Rocks and my sister and I luckily found shelter under a sign,” one fan tweeted.

“I am bleeding and have huge bumps on my head from the hail. Hoping everyone made it out safely,” another one added

“I’m so sorry. We just left the same show. I have a broken hand from the hail,” a third person tweeted.

The organizers initially said that concert-goers are advised to “seek shelter in your vehicle”. “We’ll let you know when we’ve received the all clear.” After receiving an ‘all clear’, they asked people to get back into the amphitheater.

However, an hour later fans were informed that the concert was postponed.

“Tonight’s show has officially been postponed. Please be safe exiting the amphitheater – we’ll have more information for ticket holders soon,” Red Rocks Amphitheatre said in a tweet.

Meanwhile, Denver, Aurora and Lakewood are under a severe thunderstorm warning until 9:15 PM. The National Weather Service has received reports of quarter to half-dollar-sized hail near downtown in the Colorado capital city.
