A shooting incident on Rehoboth Beach, Delaware left one dead. Police are investigating the incident at Christian Street and Bayard Avenue area. There is no information on the suspect yet. One more victim was admitted to the hospital Saturday afternoon.
Rehoboth Beach Police officials responded to calls of shots fired in the Christian Street and Bayard Avenue area. Police said one person is dead and another was removed from the scene and treated at a nearby hospital.

On April 28, a man in serious condition was admitted to the hospital after he was shot multiple times. Smyrna Police detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred in the morning at the 200 block of First Avenue. The 45-year-old man was shot multiple times in his upper torso and extremities. He was taken to the Smyrna-Clayton Emergency Room by a private car. The person has since been shifted to Kent General Hospital where he remains in serious condition, according to police.
On April 8, three people were shot at Christiana Mall in what police do not believe was a random shooting. The three victims of the gunfire were moved to the hospital. Police said all were considered stable by Sunday afternoon.
According to police, five other people were also injured, but the injuries were not gunshot-related.
Police responded to the mall at around 6:45 PM for a report of a shooting in the food court. The shooting was a result of an altercation between an unknown number of suspects and at least one of the gunshot victims.
“It has not been confirmed how many suspects were involved,” Delaware State Police Cpl. Jason Hatchell had said.
