Two men died after being shot on the South Side of South Chicago Saturday. Police arrived at the scene at around 3:15 pm to find the men lying on the street in 8300 block of South Paxton Avenue, Chicago Police said.

Both had been shot multiple times and were taken to University of Chicago Medical Centre for treatment where they were later pronounced dead. 

One of the men was reportedly 32 years old while the other was between 25 and 30 years old. No suspects have been identified yet. Area detectives are investigating the case. 

Meanwhile, one person died at a shooting at Denver’s Villa Park neighbourhood on Saturday. The incident took place at the intersection of West 10th Avenue and North Sheridan Boulevard.

Police said two men were injured in the shootout. Upon being hospitalised, one of the men passed away. Denver police are yet to name suspects in the incident. 

Further, seven people were shot at in Lexington early morning Saturday. The shooting took place near the Lexington Legends stadium. When police arrived on the scene, they found two injured women lying on the ground and took them to the hospital. Five others reached hospitals themselves.

This, however, was only one of the three shootings reported in Lexington on Saturday. At 02:30 am Saturday morning, Lexington police found a woman with a gunshot wound lying on the ground at Oak Street, according to a local news report. Another woman was found lying with gunshot injuries at 8:12 am at 1100 block of Briarwood Circle and was taken to the hospital. 

Yet another shooting took place at Fort Wayne in Indiana on Friday night. An argument between a man and a woman escalated leading to gunshots being fired. The incident took place following a concert at Mitchell’s Sports & Neighbourhood Grill on West Jefferson Boulevard, a local radio station reported.
