Spokane is a city in eastern Washington state, which has now made some strides toward ensuring gun safety. Despite the recently introduced background checks necessary before buying guns, the state has some ways to go. For now, Washington remains an open carry state and people can also have a wide array of firearms including shotguns and assault weapons. Those who have had violent offences can also obtain firearms in Washington.
