According to reports, a huge truck collided with many automobiles on a stretch of Interstate 395 near Arlington on Saturday afternoon, injuring several individuals.

The truck’s driver crashed the vehicle over an I-395 barrier before stealing an Arlington ambulance. Before he crossed the 14th Street Bridge into Washington, D.C., he was being pursued by Arlington County and the Virginia State Police.

The truck is said to have collided with a number of automobiles on I-66 near Rosslyn at 3:30 p.m. The truck’s driver then turned south onto I-395, where the other collisions happened.

According to Dave Statter of STATer911, the accidents on northbound I-395 happened between Crystal City and the 14th Street Bridge. Just before the bridge, the truck driver struck a barrier and fled, according to Statter.
