A former food and beverage manager at the luxurious L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court alleging that she was wrongfully terminated after reporting sexual harassment by guests and the hotel’s front office director. The plaintiff, identified as ‘Jane Doe’ in the lawsuit, was hired in March 2022.

She claims sexual battery and harassment, failure to prevent harassment, gender discrimination, retaliation, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The lawsuit was filed on May 8, and the plaintiff is seeking compensation for lost earnings, emotional distress, and attorney fees. Rooms at the hotel, which is known for its plush exclusivity, start at $700 per night.

The lawsuit states that a regular patron of L’Ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills repeatedly harassed the former food and beverage manager. The patron allegedly asked Doe about her dating life and made inappropriate advances towards her, even after she reported the incident to the hotel manager.

The suit further alleges that the hotel manager failed to prevent the guest from continuing to harass Doe, despite her repeated complaints. As a result, Doe sought help from several bartenders and servers, but the guest continued to harass her and requested that she personally serve him. The plaintiff claims that this ongoing harassment led to her wrongful termination. She is now suing for an unspecified amount.

L’Ermitage Hotel is located in the heart of Beverly Hills, at 9291 Burton Way, Beverly Hills, CA 90210. It has 119 guest rooms and suites, each designed with modern amenities and contemporary décor.
