With the latest episode of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Loki, the plot has become even more complex and intriguing. Featuring the first post-credit scene of the series, Loki episode 4 has left its audience on a cliffhanger as the short clip gives us a glimpse of the apparent Loki variants.

After the Time Variance Authority (TVA) pruned Loki, it was revealed in the post-credits scene of Loki episode 4 that the God of Mischief wasn’t actually erased from reality but he was merely transported to a different set up %u2013 some even say he is in a time loop (fan theory). But the question is where was he sent?

Based on Sylvie’s revelation in Loki episode 2 %u2013 that the Time-keepers do not exist %u2013 the TVA decides which variants they would brainwash to remain as employees and which ones to prune. As for those who suffer the latter fate, they were deleted from existence. Apart from Loki, Mobius was also pruned by the TVA.

At the end of Loki episode 4 titled “Nexus Event,” Loki and Sylvie were trying to make sense of their realisation that the Time-Keepers don’t exist. Amid all of this, the God of Mischief attempted to confess his real feelings to his Sylvie (apparently Loki himself). But before he could do that, he was pruned by Ravonna Renslayer.

In lieu of dying, in the post-credits scene it was unveiled that he was transported outside of the TVA offices to another ravaged set up, appears to be New York as we could see the ruined Avengers Tower. There, he was greeted by new Loki variants %u2013 Old Loki, Kid Loki, Boastful Loki, and crocodile/alligator Loki.
With Loki uniting with his variants, we can presume that they will help him return to the TVA (the sacred timeline), reunite with Sylvie, and defeat Ravonna, after all, she is a threat to all of them since they are all variants.
