Preliminary testing revealed that the white powder found on Sunday at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue tested positive for cocaine, according to a dispatch call obtained by DailyMail.com. As a result, the area was sealed off and emergency services were contacted.

After the substance was discovered, the D.C. Fire Department was called to the scene. The responding fire department team conducted an assessment and determined that the substance did not pose a threat. A dispatch recording from the fire crew confirmed that the testing conducted on the substance indicated it was indeed cocaine.

As per Daily Mail, the substance was found in the Library area, which is also open to the general public for White House tours. However, a report from TMZ claimed that the secret service has not revealed the exact place.

The Secret Service has started an inquiry to find out where the drug came from and who was responsible for the security violation.

As the news surfaced many US citizens bashed Hunter Biden, a former drug addict, who was last seen at the White House. He was spotted before leaving for Camp David with his father for the long weekend. The cocaine was found two days later.

Jim Banks, a Trump aid, in a tweet slammed the Biden family saying, “They never found cocaine in the Trump White House! The Bidens are unfit to live in the White House!”

One Twitter user wrote, “The small bag of cocaine found in the White House Library just happened to be in the same room where Hunter Biden used his laptop. Immediately following the evacuation the Secret Service assumed it belonged to Hunter. The White House attempted to discredit reports from the Hazmat team that the ‘unknown substance’ was cocaine. The Secret Service did not collect fingerprints from the bag as they knew Hunter had left it behind.”
