The Justice Department has filed charges against a “whistleblower” of engaging in arms trafficking, serving as a Chinese agent abroad, and breaking Iranian sanctions. Gal Luft has frequently accused US President Joe Biden of corruption.

Luft, a dual citizen of the United States and Israel, is charged with bribing a former Donald Trump aide in 2016 on behalf of Chinese businessmen without declaring himself to be a foreign agent.

According to the prosecution, Luft encouraged the unnamed former government worker to promote Chinese-friendly policies.

Additionally, they claim that he arranged meetings between Iranian and Chinese energy firm representatives to talk about oil agreements that would defy US sanctions.

The 57-year-old Luft was detained in Cyprus in February, but he fled after being freed on bail and is not currently in US prison.

Luft “engaged in multiple, serious criminal schemes,” according to US Attorney for the Southern District of New York Damian Williams.

According to Luft, the criminal investigation is a political witch hunt designed to prevent him from testifying before the House Oversight Committee about how the Bidens had an FBI informant who shared sensitive information with their backers from the China-controlled energy company CEFC and how the first family received payments from sources connected to Chinese military intelligence.

“I, who volunteered to inform the US government about a potential security breach and about compromising information about a man vying to be the next president, am now being hunted by the very same people who I informed — and may have to live on the run for the rest of my life,” Luft told The Post in a video filmed in an undisclosed location last week.
