Relli filed a civil suit against his high school best friend for emotional distress and assault. Rocky, Rakim Mayers, was arrested on account of assaulting with a deadly weapon over the alleged shooting. The police had not disclosed the victim’s name. He was not charged but has to visit the court on the 17th of August. But just prior to that Ephron, aka A$AP Relli, came forward to publicly accuse Mayers of tricking him to an unknown location in central Hollywood.
According to Relli’s attorney’s Jamal Tooson and Brian Hurwitz, Relli was taken to that location to discuss a disagreement between the two. They stated this while announcing the lawsuit. A$AP Rocky, allegedly, had come armed with a semi-automatic handgun. Rocky, without any provocation or warning, produced the handgun and fired shots at Relli. Relli claims that Mayer had caused him several injuries and apparently the entire incident had been captured by surveillance cameras.
