Hossnieh, known for her work on high-profile podcasts, including “Couples Therapy” and “The Daily Zeitgeist Creature Feature,” is facing backlash as the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) reports a significant rise in antisemitic incidents since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel.

Who is Anna Hossnieh?
While Hossnieh is recognized for her role in the podcasting industry, concerns have emerged regarding her alleged denial of rape, disputed claims about events on October 7th, and romanticizing the treatment of victims kidnapped by Hamas terrorists. These allegations have drawn attention, particularly in the context of a notable increase in antisemitic acts recorded by the ADL.
According to the ADL’s data, there has been a sharp rise in antisemitic incidents in the U.S. in the three months following the Oct. 7 attack. The organization recorded 3,283 anti-Jewish incidents during this period, averaging almost 34 incidents per day. The data suggests that 2023 is on track to become the highest year for antisemitic acts since the ADL began its tracking efforts in the late 1970s.
The ADL’s report indicates a 360% increase in antisemitic incidents in the three months after October 7th compared to the same period in the previous year. The incidents encompass physical assault, vandalism, and verbal or written harassment, with a notable addition of 1,317 rallies marked by antisemitic rhetoric and expressions of support for terrorism against Israel.
