A woman named Barbie Minor is being severely criticized on social media for expressing anti-semitic views.

The woman was caught on video, where she can be seen calling the October 7 massacre by Hamas ‘Justified.’

Who is Barbie Minor?

Barbie Minor was elected to the Tualatin Hills Board of Directors in 2021 and used to work at Colombia Sports.

She was severely slammed after the video went viral of the protest where she can be seen calling the October 7 massacre by Hamas which claimed the lives of at least 1,200 people ‘Justified.’

Several X users slammed her on social media and expressed their anger on the video. One user wrote, “Hatred towards jewish community has grown strong like roots of a tree. We can safely say, Tik-tok, which is spreading a lot of mis-information”

“The microaggression ppl think that words are violence but beheadings are justified. They have morally surrendered themselves to the ideological forces at play” another user wrote.

One X user tweeted, “I bet they are paid by airtime. These paid protestors are trying to impress their bosses.”

Antisemitic incidents in the US surged by around 400% in less than two weeks following the outbreak of the Middle East crisis on October 7 as a result of an attack on Israel by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas, according to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). Preliminary data from the ADL Center on Extremism indicates that 312 incidents of violence, vandalism, and harassment directed towards Jews were documented in the US between October 7 and October 23. Of them, about 190 had a direct bearing on the ongoing war between Hamas and Israel.

The ongoing conflict has led the U.S. Justice Department to announce that it is closely monitoring the increasing threats aimed at Muslims and Jews. Antisemitism and Islamophobia have been strongly opposed by President Joe Biden.

Approximately 5,700 Palestinians had lost their lives as a result of Israeli bombings on Gaza as of Tuesday, according to Gazan officials. Approximately 1,200 individuals died in a Hamas onslaught on October 7.
