The Vancouver Police Department and the FBI are currently in search of an 8-year-old boy who was reported missing from Vancouver in June last year.
The Vancouver Police Department said on June 17, 2022, that officers conducted a welfare check related to an investigation, and were looking for an eight-year-old Breadson John, who is also known as Brxsan. They were unable to find him and have not been provided any information about where he is or might be. Detectives have tried to contact multiple family members to learn the whereabouts of John.
Who is Breadson John?
Breadson John, who was also known as Brxsan by his friends and family, was born in Hawaii. He speaks both English and Trukese/Chuukese. The FBI said he has ties to or may visit Hawaii, Arizona, Washington, and the Truk/Chuuk Islands in the Federated States of Micronesia near Papua New Guinea and Guam.
FBI Seattle field officers are also assisting VPD with the search for John. The FBI have claimed that the June 2022 welfare check was conducted over concerns for his welfare by members of the community.

VPD has said that charges of custodial interference were filed against John’s grandparents. They were his last known guardians and persons of interest during the initial criminal investigation.
The photos released by the FBI at the time of the Missing Person bulletin in January were said to be more than a year old, and agents said it was likely that John’s appearance may have changed.
