The Columbus Division of Police issued an arrest warrant against Dayveion Carroll suspected of fatally shooting a man in the Eastmoor neighborhood of Columbus.
Police officers received a call at 12:26 pm about a shooting in the 100 block of South Hampton Road. The caller told police someone was firing from inside a vehicle.
Once medical staff reached the scene, Saddiq Teague, 20, was found lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. He was declared dead at the scene at 12:33 pm.

Who is Dayveion Carroll?
Dayveion Carroll is charged with murder in the death of Saadiq Teague on Monday. He is 20 years old. Police said Carroll is still at large and they are searching for him. He is described as 6’4 feet tall with brown hair and hazel eyes. Carroll is from West Side.
According to court documents, Carroll is suspected of shooting Teague on the 3600 block of East Broad Street. The only details released in court records about what preceded the shooting were that Carroll and Teague had been in a verbal argument and that Carroll had pulled a gun and fired multiple rounds.

In August 2021, Teague was shot six times in an altercation and underwent multiple surgeries. A 19-year-old man was charged and convicted of felonious assault and sentenced to three years of probation. It was one of the several incidents in 2021 that brought Teague unwanted notoriety. His father, Andrew Teague, was killed in a shootout with police along Interstate 270 in March 2021. The following month, Teague was arrested in New York City for taking a loaded AK-47 onto a subway station platform.
