The Bahamas “hitman” who was allegedly hired by Georgia housewife Lindsay Shiver to kill her wealthy former football player husband is seen for the first time following his release from prison.

On Saturday morning, Faron Newbold, 29, left his luxurious, recently constructed home in the Abaco islands clutching a green bottle and driving off in a $50,000 Mercedes SUV.

Speaking to Daily Mail, the father-of-one said,  ‘I’ve told you guys, I’ll speak to you when my lawyer says it’s OK.’

He works as a structural engineer for a power firm during the day. Authorities in the Bahamas claim that Shiver, 36, and her bartender partner Terrance Bethel, 28, recruited Newbold to hunt out her estranged husband Robert Shiver, 38.

Police discovered evidence of the alleged “murder-for-hire” plot through WhatsApp chats exchanged between the trio, and the former cheerleader has spent the last two weeks incarcerated in a depressing Nassau prison.

But according to a source familiar with the case, it may be difficult for prosecutors to prove that Newbold intended to assassinate Auburn star Robert, who is currently safe and sound in Thomasville, Georgia with the couple’s three young sons.

Yesterday, DailyMail.com reported that Shiver allegedly admitted to sending a picture of Robert to Newbold along with the message to “kill him” during her police questioning. If found guilty, the blonde may receive a sentence of 30 to 60 years.

However, according to the reports the trio will argue they were simply ‘letting off steam’ because they disliked the way Robert treated his wife of 13 years after filing for divorce in April. Ian Cargill, Shiver’s attorney in Nassau, declined to comment despite being contacted many times.

Bethel and Newbold, who were childhood friends, were freed on $20,000 bail on Thursday and told to stay in Marsh Harbour, where they must keep their distance from one another and observe a curfew.

According to reports, Shiver would have to gather five times that amount in cash and convince the judge that she has a place to stay in the Bahamas before being released with an electronic ankle tag.
