A murder suspect was arrested in North Carolina Thursday after leading cops on a wild chase in a car belonging to a missing Lyft driver from Florida, police said.
Lyft driver Gary Levin hasn’t been heard from since Monday, when his family says he picked up a customer in Delray Beach, Florida. His red 2022 Kia Stinger was seen in Miami that day and then in a rural area north of Lake Okeechobee and layer in north Florida, said officials.

“We’re just waiting for answers. We don’t know what this guy in custody is going to say. If he dropped my dad off somewhere then we have to go get him,” Levin’s daughter Lindsay DiBetta said, reported The Post.
Before Thursday’s arrest, police officers said Levin’s Kia was last detected traveling in Gainesville, a several-hour drive from his usual Lyft routes.
