The attacker, who has not been apprehended, appeared to be engaged in an intense back-and-forth with an unidentified person moments before launching his attack on McAllister.

He then charged at her while she was staring blankly at her phone, landing a flying punch in the face and knocking her to the ground.

According to official NYPD crime figures, transportation crime in the Big Apple has increased by more than 44 percent over the same time previous year.

According to police, the perpetrator fled the area in an unknown direction and escaped the station.

McAllister stated on TikTok that she is now ‘focused on healing’ following the attack.

‘I just want to thank you so much for all of your love, support, and genuine concern,’ she continued.

‘I shared this so that people are aware and as safe as possible, I obviously wish things had gone differently but I can’t think about that now, so I’ll just learn from my mistakes.’

She thanked the couple who came to her side for being ‘so lovely and so sweet,’ including helping her home after the unexpected strike.

Hannah also shared video of the incident, which she claims was removed from TikTok due to “graphic content violations.”

She apparently said in the video that the attack may have been avoided if she hadn’t been on her phone, saying, ‘I should have been paying more attention, but ya know.’
