Missouri authorities are on a manhunt for Justin Robinson escaped from the Ray County Jail in Henrietta, Missouri. Robinson is suspected of stabbing his pregnant girlfriend in January 2023, for which he was charged with 16 different felonies.
On Tuesday, Robinson and another prisoner allegedly stabbed a jailer multiple times with a homemade shank, allowing them to escape. While the other prisoner was caught within 45 minutes, Robinson remains at large, and authorities consider him “dangerous to the community.”

Justin Robinson, the 39-year-old prisoner was last seen at 2:45 a.m. on East Main Street in Richmond, Missouri. He was described as being 5 feet, 10 inches tall and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark shorts at the time of his escape. The authorities are using drones and K-9 units to search the area, but rainy weather has hindered their search efforts.
Robinson’s alleged attack on his pregnant girlfriend was brutal. He allegedly stabbed her twice in the stomach, severing her nose, cutting her chin, and causing a stab wound to her abdomen. She underwent three-hour emergency surgery. Both she and her unborn child survived.
Robinson fled the scene in his girlfriend’s car after the knife handle broke during the second alleged stabbing. Detectives tracked him, and he was heading towards Carrollton, where he wrecked her car.
Robinson was charged with six counts of domestic assault, six counts of armed criminal action, and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to Richmond News. The authorities are urging anyone with information about Robinson’s current whereabouts to call 911.
