Friends claim that a Massachusetts woman was scheduled to travel to Washington, D.C., on Sunday, but she never showed up. As a result, authorities are requesting assistance in their search for the woman.

The Cohasset Police Department reported that Ana Walshe, 39, was last seen at her Cohasset residence soon after midnight on New Year’s Day.

Who is Ana Walshe?

Ana Walshe is 39 years old, from Cohasset, Minnesota. Walshe lives with her husband and three kids in Cohasset.

She is described by the police as being 5’2″ and 115 pounds. She has olive skin tone, brown eyes, and brown hair. She is thought to have an accent from Eastern Europe.

Walshe and her family reside in Cohasset, but she spends her workweeks in the nation’s capital, DC. As he looks after their three small children, her husband was unable to speak with any press, but friends and family from all around the world are getting increasingly anxious for her safe return.

Walshe, 39, reportedly spent New Year’s Eve at her Cohasset home with her husband and three kids. According to the Cohasset Police Chief, Walshe was scheduled to depart for Logan Airport at 4:30 a.m. on January 1 to go to her second home in the northwest region of Washington, DC.

Her close friends and family describe her as a vibrant, magnetic person, curious and caring.  Her abrupt absence was totally unexpected.

“We’re doing anything and everything, turning the world over to find her,” said Alissa Kirby, Ana’s friend in Washington DC. “She loves her family, and I know in my heart, that of her choice, she would not go a day without speaking to her like husband and her kids,” she added.

According to friends, Walshe commutes to Washington during the workweek for a position at a large real estate firm, which she began last year. She is active on social media, but according to acquaintances, on Sunday, when she was scheduled to board a flight, those accounts went silent.

“She is loved by so many and we just want to see her home,” said Evan Turell, another friend.
