The deadline for surrendering to the Georgia jail is Friday. Trump, who faces 13 criminal counts in the case announced on Truth Social late Monday that he would surrender Thursday. It is being speculated that his decision to surrender on Thursday might be motivated by the fact that the first Republican Presidential debate is scheduled to happen on the same day, where Trump will not be present. Experts think this might be his way to stealing the limelight just hours after the debate wraps up.

A judge in Fulton County set Trump’s bond at $200,000 and barred him from potential witness intimidation.
