Cindy Flash, a 67-year-old Minnesota native fell victim to Hamas militants in her home near the Gaza border. Known for her advocacy for Palestinian rights, Cindy and her husband, Igal Flash, were brutally murdered inside their safe room in Kibbutz Kfar Aza, a once serene community now marked by the horrors of the recent massacre.

Cindy, who had migrated to Israel years ago after developing a deep love for the country, was a passionate supporter of human rights, often vocal in her opposition to military operations that disregarded the dignity of human life.
