The family of a young mother, Emma Louise Morris, who died in a crash that also left her four-year-old son severely injured have said she had “so much more life to live”.

Her parents released a statement through North Wales Police (NWP). “Our beautiful daughter has been cruelly taken from us – and too soon,” they said.

“At just 28 years old, our darling girl had so much more life to live. Emma Louise Morris was beautiful inside and out and will leave an enormous void in all of our lives,” it added.

Emma’s parents asked for their privacy to be respected in this difficult time. “We will not issue any further comment,” they said.

Who was Emma Louise Morris?

Emma was killed in a four-car crash on the A487 near Caernarfon, North Wales, on Monday, April 3. Three other people were also critically injured.

Her four-year-old son continues to be in critical but stable condition.

The collision involved a BMW 1 series, a Skoda Octavia, a dark grey Audi A3 saloon, and Peugeot 208, North Wales Police confirmed. The accident occurred around 7 PM. Emma was driving the Peugeot 208 and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A JustGiving fundraiser was started by friends to help Emma’s husband and their two sons. The fund has helped raise more the £1,300 towards its £2,000 target in less than 24 hours.

“Emma was the greatest friend to everyone and her beautiful smile could light up any room. She was one in a million. Emma will be missed by all her family and friends and everyone that knew her,” the organizer wrote.

Emma’s son was admitted to Alder Hey Hospital, Liverpool, with critical injuries. Another woman was transported to Stoke Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Two further people were moved to Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, with critical injuries.
