Who was Glenn Porter?
Glenn Porter was 20 years old. He was the son of Charleroi district judge Eric Porter. He recently graduated from the police academy and was hired by California Borough Police Department.
Glenn was in a car with his girlfriend Kylie Quigley, who was also severely injured. As per police reports, Eric Porter and his wife Laurie were lucky to survive the collision without suffering any injuries. District magistrate for the Charleroi region, Eric Porter, was chosen for this position in 2019.
In a recent news release, the Delaware State Police said that just before midnight on Friday, a terrible occurrence took place on Seashore Highway close to Bridgeville. The statement claims that an SUV crossed the center line and sideswiped the pickup truck being driven by Glenn Porter’s parents ahead of him. The SUV subsequently made a devastating head-on collision with Glenn Porter’s vehicle.
Glenn Porter, who was injured in the collision and sent to a nearby hospital, passed away there. Kylie Quigley, his girlfriend from Stockdale, who is 19 years old, also suffered severe wounds and is in the hospital right now.
As per media reports, the 20-year-old and his family were traveling together for a summer vacation when the accident happened.
The news of Glenn Porter’s tragic death generated an overwhelming wave of support for the Charleroi family. An online fundraising platform was created in response to this tragedy, and as of Sunday morning, to support his family.
