Paula Hurd, Mark V Hurd’s widow, is reportedly in a relationship with Microsoft founder Bill Gates.

PEOPLE magazine, citing sources, reported “It’s widely known that Bill Gates and Paula Hurd are dating, but she hasn’t met his kids yet.”

Gates was spotted with Hurd at the final of the 2023 Australian Open Men’s Singles Final in January.

Bill Gates and his former wife Melinda Gates parted ways after 27 years of marriage. They got divorced in August 2021. The couple shares three children: Jennifer, 26, Phoebe, 20, and a son named Rory, 23.

Who was Mark Hurd?

Mark Hurd was an American technology executive. He served as Co-CEO and as a member of the board of directors of Oracle Corporation. He died in 2019.

Hurd was also a chairman, CEO and president of Hewlett-Packard. He resigned from HP in 2010. The 62-year-old was a member of the Technology CEO Council and the board of directors of News Corporation until 2010.

Born in Manhattan, New York, Mark Hurd was the son of a debutante, Teresa and financier Steiner Hurd. He studied at the Archbishop Curley-Notre Dame High School in Miami, Florida. The 62-year-old graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

Mark Hurd married Elizabeth A. Butler on August 23, 1980. The couple got a divorce in 1987. He then tied the knot with Paula Kalupa. They have two daughters, Kathryn and Kelly.

In 2019, Hurd said that he wanted to go on leave for unspecified health reasons. He died in October of that year.
